The campaign effectively showcases how WhatsApp creates a secure haven for individuals, especially those living away from home, to connect deeply with loved ones while adapting to new environments. Through a compelling ad film directed by Shimit Amin, the campaign follows the journey of a young man pursuing his culinary passion in a new city. The narrative highlights how WhatsApp provides a safe space for him to express his true self, even during vulnerable moments.
While end-to-end encryption forms the bedrock of WhatsApp’s security, the campaign also sheds light on essential privacy features like Block and Report, Two-step verification, and Meta Verified. These tools empower users to enhance the protection of their conversations and identify trusted businesses through verified badges.

To further enhance user safety, WhatsApp is introducing dedicated product films that educate users about safeguarding themselves from online scams and frauds. Key safety features highlighted include Two-step verification, Block and Report, Silence unknown callers, and Meta Verified badges.
The national campaign will be visible across various platforms, including outdoor advertising, print media, digital channels, and cinemas in eight Indian states.
