New Delhi: In a significant development in the Indian media landscape, Neeraj Vyas, the driving force behind Sony Entertainment Television, Sony SAB, PAL, and Sony MAX Movie Cluster, has announced his departure from Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI). Effective August 31, 2024, Vyas will embark on a new chapter as an entrepreneur.
With a career spanning nearly three decades, Vyas has been instrumental in shaping SPNI’s entertainment channels into industry leaders. His journey commenced in the sales department of Sony Entertainment Television (SET), where his exceptional performance propelled him to the position of National Sales Head within five years. Subsequently, he took charge of Sony MIX, demonstrating his strategic acumen and leadership abilities.
Vyas’s influence extended to Sony MAX in 2011, followed by Sony SAB and Sony PAL in 2017. In 2023, he assumed the reins of Sony Entertainment Television. Under his guidance, Sony SAB underwent a successful transformation into a premium entertainment brand, garnering significant viewership and acclaim.
