New Delhi: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has opened the door for ambitious companies to capitalize on the lucrative Indian cricket market. The cricketing body has issued a call for proposals from qualified entities to manage the production and operations of stadium signage across its major events. This includes high-profile tournaments like the Indian Premier League (IPL) and the Women’s Premier League (WPL), as well as international and domestic matches.
The BCCI intends to award these coveted rights through a competitive tender process. Interested parties can now obtain the Request for Proposal (RFP) by paying a fee of Rs. 1,00,000 plus applicable GST. The RFP provides detailed guidelines for submitting and evaluating bids and will be available until January 28, 2025.
To acquire the RFP, interested parties must submit proof of payment via email as per the instructions outlined in Annexure A. It’s important to note that purchasing the RFP does not automatically guarantee the right to participate in the bidding process. Only those meeting the eligibility criteria specified within the RFP will be eligible to submit bids.

The BCCI has retained the right to modify or even cancel the RFP process at any stage without providing any explanation. This move signifies the BCCI’s strategic approach to maximizing revenue streams and enhancing the overall fan experience through innovative and impactful stadium advertising.
This development is expected to attract significant interest from leading advertising and marketing agencies, as well as other businesses seeking to leverage the immense popularity of Indian cricket. The successful bidder will have the opportunity to play a crucial role in shaping the visual landscape of Indian cricket stadiums, reaching millions of fans across the country and beyond.
