ZEE5 Loses Chief Business Officer Manish Kalra

New Delhi: In a significant development in the Indian media and entertainment industry, Manish Kalra has announced his resignation from the position of Chief Business Officer, India and Global, at ZEE5. Sources close to the matter have confirmed that Mr. Kalra will continue to fulfill his responsibilities during a 90-day notice period.  

Mr. Kalra’s departure comes shortly after he assumed the leadership role for ZEE5’s Indian and global markets. During his tenure, he played a crucial role in driving the platform’s growth trajectory.

A seasoned industry veteran with over two decades of experience, Manish Kalra boasts an impressive resume. Prior to joining ZEE5 in September 2024, he held key positions at prominent organizations such as Amazon, MakeMyTrip, HomeShop18, Dell, PepsiCo, Citi Bank, ITC, and Craftsvilla.  

This development marks a significant change in leadership at ZEE5, a leading streaming platform in India. The company will now need to identify a suitable replacement for Mr. Kalra and navigate the evolving landscape of the Indian media and entertainment industry.
