New Delhi: TATA AIG General Insurance Company, a major player in the Indian general insurance market, has announced the appointment of Amit Ganorkar as its new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (MD & CEO). This appointment follows the approval of the company’s board of directors and the necessary regulatory clearances, ensuring a seamless transition in leadership.
Amit Ganorkar, a seasoned industry veteran, brings over 20 years of experience in the general insurance sector. He has a proven track record of success in various key areas, including sales and distribution, product innovation, marketing, operations, and technology. Prior to assuming this role, Mr. Ganorkar served as the Managing Director of Royal Sundaram General Insurance. He also held the position of Chief Operating Officer at TATA AIG earlier in his career.
