New Delhi: ITI Asset Management (ITI AML) announced the appointment of Jatinder Pal Singh as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with effect from today. Singh brings over 25 years of experience in the Indian mutual funds industry to this role.
Prior to joining ITI AML, Singh served as the Chief Marketing Officer at Mahindra Manulife Investment Management from September 2015 to December 2024. Before that, he held the position of National Head – Sales & Distribution at Morgan Stanley Investment Management from October 2007 to September 2014. He also has experience with HSBC Asset Management India, where he served as Vice President & Regional Manager – Sales & Distribution from April 2002 to September 2007.

Singh succeeds Hitesh Thakkar, who has been serving as the acting CEO of ITI AML since August 1, 2022. With Singh’s appointment, Thakkar will step down as acting CEO effective December 31, 2024. However, he will continue to serve as the Chief Operating Officer of ITI AML.
This appointment marks a significant step for ITI AML as it seeks to further strengthen its leadership and drive growth in the competitive Indian mutual funds market. Singh’s extensive experience in sales, distribution, and marketing is expected to be invaluable in achieving these goals.
