New Delhi: Tennis fans in India are in for a treat as Sony Sports Network has acquired the exclusive television and digital rights to broadcast the inaugural World Tennis League. The thrilling tournament will be held from December 19th to 22nd, 2024, at the Etihad Arena on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.
The World Tennis League is a unique mixed-gender competition featuring some of the biggest names in tennis. Men’s stars like Stefanos Tsitsipas, Daniil Medvedev, Nick Kyrgios, and India’s own Sumit Nagal will be vying for glory alongside women’s champions Iga Swiatek, Barbora Krejčíková, Paula Badosa, and Aryna Sabalenka.

The tournament will see four teams – Eagles, Hawks, Falcons, and Kites – compete in a round-robin format. Each tie will consist of four sets: one men’s singles, one women’s singles, and two doubles sets.
Following the round-robin stage, the top two teams will clash in a thrilling final on December 22nd.Tennis legends Sania Mirza and Rob Koenig have been roped in as commentators, adding another layer of excitement for Indian viewers.
