New Delhi: Media veteran Sonia Huria has joined Maddock Films as the head of brand, consumer, and social communications. Huria brings a wealth of experience to the role, having previously served as the head of communications for APAC at Amazon Prime Video.
In her new role, Huria will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of brand, consumer, and social communications for Maddock Films. This includes developing and implementing integrated communications strategies that will help to build and grow the company’s brand awareness and audience engagement.

Huria has over 23 years of experience in the media and entertainment industry. She began her career at Weber Shandwick and then moved to Burson-Marsteller. She subsequently joined Viacom18, where she spent over 12 years.
Prior to joining Maddock Films, Huria served as the head of communications for APAC at Amazon Prime Video. In this role, she was responsible for developing and executing communications strategies for the streaming service across the Asia Pacific region.
Huria’s appointment is a significant addition to the Maddock Films team. Her expertise in brand building, consumer engagement, and social media will be invaluable as the company continues to grow and expand its reach.
