New Delhi: Sajith Sivanandan, former CEO of Disney+ Hotstar, has been appointed as President of Jio Mobile Digital Services. Announcing the move on LinkedIn, Sivanandan expressed enthusiasm about the opportunity to develop scalable, AI-driven digital services for Jio Mobile.
Sivanandan served as CEO of Disney+ Hotstar from October 2022 to December 2024, where he led business operations in India and collaborated with international teams to define growth-focused strategies. Under his leadership, Disney+ Hotstar expanded its market presence and fortified its position as a leading streaming platform.

Before Disney+ Hotstar, Sivanandan spent over 15 years at Google, where he held pivotal roles, including Managing Director and Business Head of Google Pay and Next Billion User Initiatives for the APAC region. His professional journey in media and technology began with Star TV India in 1996.
