Flying Beast Locked Out of LinkedIn After Shark Tank Controversy

YouTuber Gaurav Taneja (Flying Beast) claims he has been locked out of his LinkedIn account for over 48 hours. The incident follows his viral Shark Tank India pitch and remarks about Anupam Mittal

NEW DELHI: Popular YouTuber and entrepreneur Gaurav Taneja, also known as Flying Beast, has revealed that he has been locked out of his LinkedIn account for over 48 hours. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Taneja sought help from LinkedIn, tagging their official support handle.

“Hi team @LinkedInIndia. I have been locked out of my account for 48+ hrs now. Can you help me get the account back, please? Thanks, @LinkedInHelp,” – Gaurav Taneja (@flyingbeast320), January 27, 2025.

Shark Tank Fallout?

The timing of Taneja’s LinkedIn issue is interesting, as it comes just days after he updated his LinkedIn bio to say, “Good Influencer/Terrible Entrepreneur,” a pointed response to Shark Tank India judge Anupam Mittal. During his pitch, Mittal had remarked, “You are a good influencer but a terrible entrepreneur so far.”

Taneja had pitched his fitness brand, Beast Life, seeking ₹1 crore for 1% equity, but failed to secure an investment. After the episode aired, he shared on LinkedIn that some Sharks had advised him to shut down his YouTube channels and focus solely on business.

“Shut down your YouTube and go all in on one business. That’s the advice I got from some Sharks on Shark Tank India,” Taneja wrote.

However, he defended his decision, calling it “risky” advice, and later took a dig at Anupam Mittal’s Shaadi.com, comparing its 125,000 social media followers to his 8-month-old brand’s 127,000 followers.

“The rules of entrepreneurship are evolving. Maybe it’s time to explore and break traditional moulds,” he added.

What’s Next?

Taneja, who runs three successful YouTube channels—Flying Beast, Fit Muscle TV, and Rasbhari Ke Papa—has yet to receive a response from LinkedIn. Whether his lockout is due to technical issues or something related to his recent controversy remains unclear.
