New Delhi: OpenAI, the artificial intelligence research laboratory, has announced the appointment of Irina Kofman as its new head of strategic initiatives. Kofman, a seasoned AI executive with a proven track record, joins OpenAI from Meta where she served as the Senior Director of Product Management for Generative AI.
Kofman will report directly to Mira Murati, OpenAI’s Chief Technology Officer. Her appointment comes at a time when OpenAI is rapidly expanding its operations and seeking to capitalize on the growing demand for AI-powered solutions.
With over two decades of experience in the field of artificial intelligence, Kofman brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to OpenAI. Prior to her role at Meta, she held key positions at Google, including Chief Operating Officer of Google AI.
