New Delhi: Swiggy, the leading food delivery platform, has announced the appointment of Amitesh Jha as the Chief Executive Officer of its quick commerce business, Swiggy Instamart. Jha, a seasoned e-commerce professional with over two decades of experience, will take over the reins from Swiggy co-founder Phani Kishan, who will assume a broader role within the organization.
Jha joins Swiggy Instamart from Flipkart, where he has held various leadership positions, including heading the supply chain and growth business. His expertise in e-commerce operations, strategy, and product development is expected to drive significant growth for Swiggy Instamart, which aims to redefine the way consumers shop for groceries and other essentials in India.
