New Delhi: The Press Council of India (PCI) has initiated a suo-motu inquiry into the alleged incorrect depiction of India’s map on the cover page of Frontline Magazine’s August 10-23, 2024 issue.
In a significant move, PCI Chairperson Justice Ranjana Prakash Desai has issued a show-cause notice to the magazine’s editor. This development comes after the council took cognizance of the matter on its own accord.
