New Delhi: Public broadcaster Prasar Bharati is seeking proposals to integrate app platforms with its upcoming OTT service. This opens doors for developers of OTT, gaming, educational, and other relevant apps to collaborate.
Two Integration Options:
- App-in-App with Revenue Sharing: Integrate your app within Prasar Bharati’s OTT platform and share revenue.
- Content Exchange with Revenue Sharing: Integrate and exchange content between your platform and Prasar Bharati’s OTT for mutual benefit.

Safe Entertainment Focus:
Gaming apps promoting “monetary transactions,” “betting,” or “games of chance” are excluded.
Submitting Your Proposal:
- No application fee.
- Submit proposals to ott-content@prasarbharati.gov.in.
Continuous Content Acquisition:
- Submit proposals anytime.
- Evaluated on a “first-come, first-served” basis considering content merit and alignment with Prasar Bharati’s Content Sourcing Policy.
This move expands content options for viewers and fosters collaboration within India’s digital entertainment space.
