New Delhi: In a move that will shake up the Indian media landscape, Avinash Pandey, the CEO of ABP Network, is stepping down after nearly two decades with the company. Pandey’s departure, effective soon, marks the end of a long and successful tenure at the helm of one of India’s leading broadcast and digital networks.
Pandey joined ABP Network in 2005 and steadily rose through the ranks, holding key positions that contributed significantly to the company’s growth. In 2019, he was appointed CEO, leading ABP Network into a period of further diversification across broadcast and digital platforms.
“I would like to thank Avinash for his immense contributions to ABP Network,” said Atideb Sarkar, Chief Editor and Director of ABP Network. “During his two decades with the company, ABP Network has grown tremendously in reach, revenue, and impact. Under his leadership, we’ve become a frontrunner in digital broadcasting, expanded our reach across India, and delivered an award-winning centenary campaign. On a personal note, Avinash has been a wonderful colleague and a friend. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors.”
