New Delhi: In a bid to ensure the safety and security of millions of pilgrims expected to attend the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025, the local police force has been equipped with 5,000 Eveready Siren Torches. The 44-day-long spiritual gathering, anticipated to draw over 400 million devotees, will see a significant focus on safety measures, with Eveready playing a crucial role.
The Eveready Siren Torch DL102, a unique device combining a powerful flashlight with a 100dbA sound alarm, will empower police personnel to effectively manage crowds and respond quickly to emergencies. The alarm can be activated easily by pulling an attached keychain, making it a valuable tool for attracting attention in critical situations.
“We have made extensive arrangements for the safety and security of pilgrims,” stated SSP Kumbh Mela, Rajesh Dwivedi. “Eveready’s Siren torches will be an invaluable asset in our efforts to maintain a safe and secure environment for all attendees.”

Beyond equipping police personnel, Eveready Ultima Batteries and Siren Torches will be strategically placed across the Kumbh VIP Dome City and various parts of the holy city. Furthermore, safety norms will be implemented across all 56 police stations within the Mela premises to enhance overall security.

In addition to the deployment of the Siren Torches, emergency contact numbers will be prominently displayed at key police posts throughout the Mela grounds, enabling attendees to quickly reach out for assistance in case of any unforeseen circumstances.
