New Delhi: Havas India has announced the appointment of Manas Lahiri as Chief Growth Officer. This marks a return to the agency for Lahiri, who previously held several key roles within Havas India between 2018 and 2023. In his new position, Lahiri will be instrumental in driving strategic growth initiatives, fostering stronger client relationships, and spearheading innovative business opportunities across Havas India’s network of 25 agencies. He will report directly to Rana Barua, Group CEO of Havas India, SEA, and North Asia.
Lahiri brings a wealth of experience to this role, having previously served as Executive Growth Partner at VML India where he played a crucial role in expanding the agency’s client base. Prior to this, he held the position of Managing Director at Havas Creative India, demonstrating a strong track record of success in reshaping the agency and driving key business wins.

Lahiri boasts over two decades of experience across advertising, brand marketing, and business leadership. He has held senior positions at leading agencies such as VML India, Ogilvy, McCann, and Contract India, and has worked with a diverse range of renowned brands including Samsung, Lenovo, Amazon, Coca-Cola, and Reckitt. His unique perspective, gained from starting his career on the client side with brands like Motorola and Samsung, provides him with a deep understanding of both client and agency perspectives.
