A jury of esteemed film and arts professionals meticulously selected five standout debut films from a pool of 117 entries. These films represent a vibrant tapestry of Indian languages and perspectives, promising a thrilling showcase of fresh storytelling:
- Boong (Manipuri): Directed by Lakshmipriya Devi, this film delves into a unique narrative, offering a glimpse into Manipuri cinema.
- Gharat Ganpati (Marathi): A family drama co-written and directed by Navjyot Bandiwadekar, Gharat Ganpati promises to explore the complexities of familial bonds.
