New Delhi: Cheil X, an independent full-service agency under the Cheil SWA group, has announced the opening of its new Mumbai office, with industry veteran Anurag Tandon at the helm. Tandon, a seasoned business leader with over two decades of experience, will not only oversee the new office but also spearhead the growth charter for the agency’s expanding operations in India.
With a distinguished career that includes leadership roles at prominent firms such as DDB Mudra West and WT, Mumbai, Tandon brings a wealth of experience in managing P&L, fostering key client relationships, and driving topline growth. His extensive portfolio also includes significant tenures at Ogilvy and Leo Burnett, as well as brand management roles with global giants like Unilever, Volkswagen, McDonald’s, and Johnson & Johnson.
In his new role as Chief Growth Officer, Tandon will focus on expanding Cheil X’s business footprint in Mumbai, leveraging his strategic expertise to attract and manage new client mandates. Cheil X aims to quickly establish itself as a formidable player in the competitive advertising landscape of India, promising innovative solutions and creative excellence.
