New Delhi: In a significant step to bolster bilateral relations between India and Germany, TV9 Network announced the launch of its inaugural international conference, the News9 Global Summit. Scheduled to take place in Stuttgart, Germany, from November 21 to 23, 2024, the summit is themed “India-Germany: A Roadmap to Sustainable Growth.”
Co-hosted by the renowned Bundesliga club VfB Stuttgart and supported by the state of Baden-Württemberg, the News9 Global Summit will convene key figures from politics, business, civil society, sports, and entertainment at the iconic MHP Arena.
A highlight of the summit will be the virtual keynote address by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, emphasizing India’s commitment to strengthening international partnerships, particularly with Europe’s largest economy. Additionally, two senior Indian ministers, Ashwini Vaishnaw and Jyotiraditya Scindia, along with Winfried Kretschmann, Minister-President of Baden-Württemberg, will be attending the summit.
The News9 Global Summit marks the global expansion of TV9 Network’s flagship forum, “What India Thinks Today,” aiming to showcase India’s growth story to a global audience. The summit will facilitate discussions on key issues, including sustainability, technology, and global trade, exploring avenues for mutual growth and investment between India and Germany.

Barun Das, MD & CEO of TV9 Network, expressed enthusiasm about the summit, stating, “The News9 Global Summit is more than just a dialogue; it’s a gateway to a stronger Indo-German partnership.” He further added that Germany is the first step in the global expansion of the summit, with plans to host it in other key countries in the future.
Rouven Kasper, Board Member and Chief Marketing Officer of VfB Stuttgart, highlighted the significance of the partnership, stating that the summit reflects the strong synergies between the two organizations. He emphasized VfB Stuttgart’s commitment to amplifying cultural, economic, and sporting ties between Germany and India.
Gautam Reddy, CEO of AM Green Ammonia and AM Green, emphasized the need for a powerful platform to boost sustainable initiatives. He expressed optimism about the News9 Global Summit’s potential to address global challenges and drive Indo-German collaborations in the green energy sector.
