New Delhi: Sun Pharma, a leading Indian pharmaceutical company, launched the #SecondBirthDate 2.0 initiative on National Doctors’ Day to honor the incredible work of doctors. This year’s campaign features Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen, who shared her personal story of gratitude for the doctors who gave her a second chance at life.
#SecondBirthDate 2.0 builds on the success of last year’s campaign, which featured celebrities Rishabh Pant and Mahima Chaudhry. This year, Sushmita Sen took the lead, updating her social media with her “Second Birth Date” on June 28th, 2024. She also recently shared a special “second birth certificate” with her doctors to express her deep appreciation.
“I am honored to be part of this Doctors’ Day initiative by Sun Pharma,” said Sushmita Sen. “Today is a day to express gratitude. My doctors gave me a second chance at life, and I want to thank them from the bottom of my heart.”
The campaign aims to celebrate doctors who tirelessly dedicate themselves to saving lives. Sun Pharma’s CEO – India Business, Kirti Ganorkar, expressed his gratitude: “Doctors are our real-life heroes. This campaign is a heartfelt thank you for their relentless dedication and the hope they provide to millions.”
