New Delhi: Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI) has announced the appointment of Sibaji Biswas as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective from the first week of January 2025.
Biswas, a seasoned financial leader with over two decades of experience, will be responsible for overseeing SPNI’s financial strategy, planning, and corporate finance. His primary goal will be to enhance operational efficiency and drive growth across the company’s diverse portfolio of multi-channel and digital platforms.

Prior to joining SPNI, Biswas served as the CFO and Executive Director at Syngene International, a prominent Biocon Group subsidiary. During his tenure at Syngene, he played a pivotal role in doubling the company’s revenue and nearly tripling its market capitalization over the past five years.
Biswas has also held key positions at Vodafone and Hutchison India, where he contributed significantly to strategic growth initiatives and innovative finance strategies.
