Most recently, Dembla served as the Senior Vice President, Asia at The Economist until May 2024. Prior to that, he held the position of Chief Commercial Officer at HOOQ, a leading video-on-demand platform. His journey also included significant roles at Warner Bros. Discovery across the APAC region and a stint at Reliance Entertainment.
An alumnus of INSEAD, Dembla possessed a keen entrepreneurial spirit and a proven track record in scaling businesses. His expertise lay in general management, product development, and navigating the complexities of both multinational corporations and startups. In recent years, he was actively involved in investing in and consulting tech companies across the APAC landscape.
