New Delhi: JioCinema Premium is set to premiere the much-anticipated series “PILL” on July 12th, bringing to light the shadowy underbelly of the pharmaceutical industry. This gripping series, produced by RSVP Movies and crafted by acclaimed creator Raj Kumar Gupta, features Bollywood star Riteish Deshmukh in the lead role, with the talented Pavan Malhotra playing a pivotal character.
“PILL” takes viewers on an intense journey through the murky waters of the Indian pharmaceutical sector. Riteish Deshmukh portrays Prakash Chauhan, a determined individual navigating the web of corruption within the industry. The series intricately traces the path of a pill from its inception to the hands of consumers, revealing the involvement of powerful pharma magnates, unscrupulous doctors, and courageous whistleblowers. As Prakash confronts the deceitful Pharma CEO, played by Pavan Malhotra, tensions rise, highlighting the battle between truth and profit-driven motives.
