New Delhi: The 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa is not just a celebration of cinema but also a vibrant showcase of India’s rich cultural tapestry. The Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, has brought together over 110 folk and classical artists from across the country to perform at various IFFI venues as part of IFFiesta. This initiative aims to highlight India’s diverse artistic traditions and provide a captivating cultural experience for film enthusiasts.
From the energetic Rouf dance of Kashmir to the graceful Karakattam of Tamil Nadu, the performances represent a wide array of regional dance styles. Each dance form tells a unique story, embodying the local customs, rituals, and spirituality of its region. This cultural extravaganza offers a mesmerizing spectacle for attendees, adding another dimension to the IFFI experience.
