New Delhi: In a social media post that quickly went viral, a groom-to-be shared his experience of how Swiggy Instamart saved his Haldi ceremony from disaster. Ramnath Shenoy, a Bengaluru resident, realized on the morning of his Haldi that he had forgotten to purchase a yellow kurta, a traditional garment worn for the event. In a panic, he turned to Swiggy Instamart, a popular grocery delivery service. To his relief, Instamart delivered a Manyavar kurta in just eight minutes.
But the drama didn’t end there. After the Haldi ceremony, Shenoy found himself soaked and in need of fresh undergarments. Once again, Swiggy Instamart came to the rescue, delivering the essentials in under 10 minutes.
Shenoy took to X (formerly Twitter) to express his gratitude, humorously suggesting that Swiggy Instamart deserved a spot on his wedding guest list. His tweet, accompanied by a photo of him in his Haldi attire, resonated with many users, including Phani Kishan, the co-founder of Swiggy Instamart.
