New Delhi: In a significant achievement, CNN-News18 has emerged as the top choice for viewers seeking real-time updates on the 2024 Lok Sabha election results. According to the latest data released by the Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC), CNN-News18 captured an impressive 41.1% market share on the crucial Counting Day, solidifying its position as the leading English news channel.

The data, which reflects viewership patterns on June 4, 2024, reveals that CNN-News18 was the preferred channel among viewers aged 15 and above, in the AB category. The market share was calculated over a 24-hour period, considering a total of seven channels in the English news genre.

Trailing behind CNN-News18, Republic TV secured the second spot with a 24% market share. Times Now followed closely with a 21.2% market share, while India Today TV held a 9% share of the audience.
