New Delhi: In a significant move, the Board of Directors of Asian Paints has appointed Britannia Industries Limited’s Managing Director, Varun Berry, as an Independent Director. The appointment, effective from October 23, 2024, will run for a five-year term.
Berry, a seasoned industry veteran with over three decades of experience, brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Asian Paints. His previous roles at leading companies like Hindustan Unilever and PepsiCo, both domestically and internationally, have equipped him with a deep understanding of the consumer goods market.
