In a major boost to Andhra Pradesh’s digital growth vision, ANSR, a global leader in building and operating Global Capability Centers (GCCs), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Andhra Pradesh to establish a cutting-edge GCC Innovation Campus in the Madhurawada IT Cluster in Visakhapatnam.

The agreement was signed in the presence of Shri Nara Lokesh, Honourable Minister for Information Technology, Electronics and Communications, Real Time Governance, and Human Resources Development.

10,000+ Jobs and a Global Innovation Hub

This state-of-the-art innovation campus will serve as a magnet for global enterprises looking to leverage Andhra Pradesh’s rich talent pool and robust infrastructure. The project is expected to generate over 10,000 high-value jobs in the next five years, significantly contributing to the region’s economic development.

“This partnership is a key milestone in our mission to make Visakhapatnam a global tech and innovation hub,” said Shri Katamneni Bhaskar, IAS, Secretary, ITE&C Department.

A Catalyst for the Future of Work

The innovation campus will include:

Advanced workspaces for GCCs and partner ecosystems

Training centers, simulation labs, and immersive tech zones

Global delivery centers with 24/7 operations and resilience systems

Strategic Vision Backed by Global Expertise

Lalit Ahuja, Founder & CEO of ANSR, emphasized the importance of emerging cities:

“Visakhapatnam is an untapped goldmine of talent. Our campus will transform this city into a global epicenter for innovation and enterprise transformation.”

Backed by global giants like Accenture and ServiceNow, ANSR will channel international partnerships to fuel client engagement and ecosystem growth in Visakhapatnam.

Policy Support and Long-Term Vision

The initiative aligns with Andhra Pradesh’s IT & GCC Policy 4.0, with support from the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board (APEDB) and other state departments to streamline land acquisition, approvals, and project facilitation.

This move reaffirms India’s growing leadership in digital innovation, setting a new benchmark for how regional tech clusters can leapfrog into global prominence.
