New Delhi: The much-anticipated Delhi Premier League (DPL) is set to make a grand entrance with JioCinema and Sports18 as its official streaming and broadcast partners, respectively. Organized by the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA), the inaugural season promises to be a cricketing extravaganza.
DDCA President Rohan Jaitley expressed immense excitement about the partnerships, stating, “We are thrilled to partner with JioCinema and Sports18 for the inaugural season of the Delhi Premier League. This collaboration will bring the thrilling matches of the DPL to a wider audience and elevate the viewing experience for cricket fans.”

Tournament Details
The DPL is scheduled to kick off on August 17 and conclude on September 8, 2024, with all matches taking place at the prestigious Shri Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. Cricket enthusiasts can look forward to a total of 40 matches, including 33 in the men’s category and 7 in the women’s.
Six men’s teams – South Delhi Superstarz, Purani Dilli 6, Central Delhi Kings, North Delhi Strikers, West Delhi Lions, and East Delhi Riders – will battle it out for supremacy. Additionally, four women’s teams – South Delhi Superstars, Central Delhi Queens, North Delhi Strikers, and East Delhi Riders – will showcase their talent.
The league opener will witness a clash between South Delhi Superstarz and Purani Dilli 6, promising a thrilling start to the tournament.
