iTV Network has appointed senior journalist Mukesh Kumar Rajput as Managing Editor of 'India News' (Haryana-Himachal Pradesh).

New Delhi: iTV Network has announced the appointment of seasoned journalist Mukesh Kumar Rajput as the new Managing Editor of ‘India News’ (Haryana-Himalachal Pradesh). Rajput brings with him a wealth of experience spanning nearly three decades in the Indian media landscape.

Rajput joins iTV Network after a successful stint as Editor-in-Chief of the Hindi news channel Surya Samachar. He played a key role in the channel’s re-launch and steered its editorial direction. Prior to Surya Samachar, Rajput honed his leadership skills as Editor of News18 Haryana and Editor-in-Chief of Khabrein Abhi Tak.

His journalistic journey began in 1995 with Doordarshan, India’s national broadcaster. Over the years, Rajput has held prestigious positions as a bureau chief for leading media houses such as Sahara Samay, Voice of India, and P7 News. This extensive experience across various platforms has equipped him with a deep understanding of the media industry and the evolving news consumption trends.
