EssenceMediacom appoints Vivek Das as Managing Partner and MFG Lead for India & Southeast Asia, succeeding Vinish Mathews.
Vivek Das has been appointed as the new Managing Partner and MFG (Google) Lead for India and Southeast Asia by EssenceMediacom.

New Delhi: EssenceMediacom, the newest media agency under GroupM, has announced the appointment of Vivek Das as the new Managing Partner and MFG (Google) Lead for India and Southeast Asia. Das steps into the role previously held by Vinish Mathews, who has transitioned to become the Chief Strategy Officer at Mindshare.

With a distinguished career spanning over 21 years in digital and integrated marketing, Das brings a wealth of experience to his new position. He has held significant roles at both WPP and Omnicom Media Group, where he managed high-profile clients such as Airtel, Nokia, Ford, Disney Star, PepsiCo, and Hindustan Unilever. Most recently, at GroupM’s Mindshare, Das led the consulting, data, analytics, and technology practice, earning numerous accolades.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Das is known for his mentorship of early-stage founders and his advocacy for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).
