New Delhi: In a surprising move amidst ongoing economic challenges and widespread cost-cutting measures, Zee Media has announced a salary increment for a significant portion of its workforce. According to channel sources, the salary hike will be effective from April 2024, with the increased pay reflecting in the paychecks starting next month, along with any arrears.
Sources reveal that approximately 85 percent of Zee Media employees will benefit from this increment, which ranges between 5 and 15 percent. The increments primarily target employees with lower salaries, emphasizing individual contributors (ICs) in this phase of salary adjustments.

The company management has proactively communicated with all employees regarding the increments. Both the beneficiaries of the salary increase and those who will not receive an increment at this time have been informed about the company’s decision.
