New Delhi: Wipro, a leading global information technology, consulting, and business process services company, announced the appointment of Ranjita Ghosh as its new Global Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Effective February 1, 2025, Ghosh will be responsible for overseeing all marketing activities across Wipro’s global operations.
In this critical role, Ghosh will play a pivotal part in shaping Wipro’s brand identity and driving its overall growth trajectory. She will report directly to Hari Shetty, Chief Strategist & Technology Officer at Wipro. Ghosh succeeds Laura Langdon, who has decided to pursue career opportunities outside of the company.
Prior to this appointment, Ghosh served as the CMO for Wipro’s Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa (APMEA) strategic market unit. In this role, she spearheaded marketing initiatives, customer experience programs, and communications strategies that significantly contributed to the unit’s business success.

Ghosh’s expertise spans a wide range of marketing disciplines, including brand positioning, localization, thought leadership, influencer partnerships, and innovative customer advocacy programs.
With nearly two decades of experience in the global technology services industry, Ghosh possesses a diverse skillset honed through roles in Sales, Business Development, Growth Marketing, Buyer Experience, and Ecosystem Partnerships. She has successfully led marketing teams across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific, demonstrating a strong track record of delivering impactful results.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Ghosh is a Global Fellow at The Marketing Academy and a respected voice in the industry as a prominent speaker and mentor. She is also a strong advocate for workplace diversity and inclusion.
Ghosh holds an MBA in Marketing & Operations, a B.E. in Printing Technology, and a PG Diploma in Cyber Law. This appointment marks a significant step for Wipro as it continues to invest in its marketing capabilities to strengthen its brand presence and drive future growth.
