New Delhi: In a significant development for the popular mobile app, Truecaller, the company’s board of directors has announced a leadership change. Rishit Jhunjhunwala, currently the chief product officer and managing director of India, has been appointed as the group CEO, effective January 9, 2025.
To facilitate a smooth transition, co-founders Alan Mamedi and Nami Zarringhalam will step down from their operational roles. However, they will continue to serve on the board as strategic advisors.
Jhunjhunwala, who has been with Truecaller since 2015, has played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s product strategy and driving growth in the Indian market. His appointment as CEO signifies a new era for Truecaller as it continues to expand its user base and enhance its services.
