- Enhancing the ATSC 3.0 standard: This will enable more efficient use of spectrum, lower latency, and improved quality of service for a variety of applications, including mobile, television, and fixed services.
- Developing new B2X use cases: These use cases will leverage the capabilities of ATSC 3.0 to provide innovative services such as dynamic traffic management, fast interworking with 5G networks, efficient spectrum utilization, low-latency datacasting, edge content distribution, and improved battery life for smartphones, feature phones, wearables, and IoT devices.
- Driving the adoption of B2X in India: India’s large population and growing demand for wireless connectivity make it an ideal market for B2X. The partnership will work to promote the benefits of B2X to Indian policymakers, regulators, and industry stakeholders.
