New Delhi: OTTplay, a leading OTT platform and AI-based recommendation engine, is set to honor the pioneers of South Indian cinema with the second edition of its prestigious Changemakers Awards. The awards ceremony will take place on October 26, 2024, at the Taj Coromandel in Chennai.
Building on the success of the inaugural edition in 2023, which celebrated disruptors from across the Indian film industries, the 2024 awards will focus exclusively on the vibrant Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam cinema industries. As South Indian films continue to make waves globally, this year’s event will recognize the individuals who have driven innovation and transformation in the OTT space.
The awards ceremony will feature over 35 categories, with a special focus on the Disruptive Star, Most Versatile Performer, and Inspiring Actor awards for both male and female talents across the four South Indian industries. These categories will highlight the creativity, versatility, and social impact of those who have left a lasting impression in both OTT and traditional cinema.
