New Delhi: Network18 Media & Investments Limited (Network18) has announced a shakeup in its leadership team, with Rahul Joshi receiving an extension as Managing Director and Renuka Ramnath joining the board.
In a filing with the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), Network18 confirmed that Rahul Joshi’s term as Managing Director has been extended for another three years. Joshi, who initially joined Network18 in September 2015, has been instrumental in leading the company’s growth and also oversees the media and entertainment business of Viacom18, a joint venture between Network18 and ViacomCBS. This extension signifies the board’s continued confidence in Joshi’s leadership and vision for Network18.
Adding to the leadership team, Network18 has appointed Renuka Ramnath as an Additional Director (Independent Director) effective July 4, 2024. This appointment is subject to approval by the company’s shareholders at the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).

The announcement also includes changes to the board composition. Adil Zainulbhai will be stepping down as an Independent Director on July 6, 2024, after completing his second term. Additionally, Bhama Krishnamurthy has resigned as an Independent Director with immediate effect.
These appointments and resignations mark a significant shift in Network18’s leadership structure, with the company gearing up for the next phase of its growth. The formalization of these changes will be subject to shareholder approval.
