New Delhi: In recognition of the media’s significant role in promoting International Day of Yoga (IDY) 2024, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) has announced an extension for applications to the 3rd Edition of the Antarashtriya Yoga Diwas Media Samman (AYDMS) 2024. Media houses now have until Monday, July 15th, 2024 to submit their entries.
This prestigious award recognizes outstanding media coverage of Yoga across various platforms. The aim is to celebrate media’s contribution in raising awareness and promoting the practice of Yoga for mental, physical, and spiritual well-being.
Eligibility and How to Apply
Participation in the AYDMS 2024 is voluntary and open to all registered media houses engaged in print, radio, and television broadcasting in India. Media companies can submit their entries electronically to aydms2024.mib@gmail.com by the extended deadline.

About the Antarashtriya Yoga Diwas Media Samman
Established in 2019, the AYDMS acknowledges the media’s vital role in spreading the message of Yoga both within India and internationally. The award is presented in three categories: Best Media Coverage in Yoga in Newspapers, Best Media Coverage in Yoga in Electronic Media (TV), and Best Media Coverage in Yoga in Electronic Media (Radio).
This year, a total of 33 awards will be presented across 22 Indian languages and English.
