New Delhi: E-commerce giant Meesho has unveiled its new campaign, ‘Shopping ki Power,’ aimed at boosting e-commerce adoption in India. The initiative primarily targets first-time online shoppers, providing them with the necessary tools and information to make informed purchasing decisions.

With the tagline “Shopping ki power lo apne haath mein,” the campaign emphasizes the importance of consumer control and empowerment in the online shopping journey. Meesho aims to address common concerns among new e-commerce users by highlighting the significance of genuine customer content and its hassle-free return policy.

The campaign, conceptualised by DDB Mudra in collaboration with Meesho’s creative team, employs an educational approach to build trust among consumers. By showcasing authentic customer images and reviews, Meesho seeks to bridge the gap between product expectations and reality. Additionally, the campaign clearly outlines the platform’s ‘easy return and refunds’ policy, assuring shoppers of a secure shopping experience.

Milan Partani, General Manager, Growth at Meesho, expressed the company’s commitment to providing a safe and seamless online shopping experience. He emphasized the need for guidance for first-time shoppers and highlighted how ‘Shopping ki Power’ equips users with the necessary tools and resources.

To reach a wider audience, Meesho has adopted a multi-platform approach for the campaign, leveraging television and social media channels including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter.

The campaign features two engaging TV commercials, ‘Lucky Draw’ and ‘Chase.’ ‘Lucky Draw’ underscores the importance of checking reviews and viewing real images before making a purchase. It demonstrates how this practice can help customers ensure that the product aligns with their expectations. ‘Chase’ focuses on Meesho’s ‘easy return and refunds’ policy, highlighting the simplicity of the return process and the assurance of instant refunds.

By empowering consumers with knowledge and facilitating a secure shopping environment, Meesho aims to foster trust and confidence in its platform, encouraging increased adoption of online shopping in India.
