Despite the revenue dip, Sun TV managed to secure a profit after taxes of Rs 546.94 crore, although this figure is lower than the Rs 582.80 crore profit recorded in Q1 FY2024. The company’s EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization) also contracted to Rs 706.36 crore from Rs 786.46 crore in the previous year’s corresponding quarter.
These financial results indicate a challenging quarter for Sun TV, with key revenue streams facing pressure. The company will likely be closely monitored by industry analysts to gauge its performance in the coming quarters.
