New Delhi: News18 India is set to host the third edition of its flagship event, Amrit Ratna 2024, today. This prestigious ceremony will recognize individuals who have made exceptional contributions to India’s global standing and instilled a sense of pride in every citizen. The event will celebrate remarkable achievements across various fields, honoring those who have set new benchmarks of success.
A distinguished jury, comprising Shri Amitabh Kant (G20 Sherpa & Former CEO of NITI Aayog), Justice Ranjan Gogoi (Former Chief Justice of India & Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha), Smt. P.T. Usha (IOA President & Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha), Dr. Randeep Guleria (Renowned Pulmonologist & Former Director of AIIMS), and Lt. Gen. K.J.S. Dhillon (Retd.), PVSM, UYSM, YSM, VSM, has carefully selected the awardees from a pool of distinguished individuals.
Amrit Ratna 2024 will be conferred upon Grammy Award-winning violinist L Subramaniam, actor Dhanush, former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh, singers Gurdas Maan, Udit Narayan & Kavita Krishnamurthy, classical dancer Sonal Man Singh, actor & educationist Swaroop Sampat, Forest Man of India Jadav Payeng, and the father-son duo of Sufi singers Puranchand Wadali & Lakhwinder Wadali.

The event will be graced by prominent personalities, including Shivraj Singh Chouhan (Union Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development), Giriraj Singh (Union Minister of Textiles), Gajendra Singh Shekhawat (Union Minister of Culture and Tourism), Mansukh Mandaviya (Union Minister of Sports, Youth Affairs, and Labour), Chirag Paswan (Union Minister of Food Processing Industries), Atishi (Chief Minister of Delhi), Jayant Chaudhary (Union Minister of State for Skill Development, Entrepreneurship, and Education), Ravneet Singh Bittu (Union Minister of State for Food Processing Industries and Railways), Smriti Irani (Former Union Minister), and P.T.
