The tournament kicks off on July 6th, 2024, with the reigning champions, MI New York, taking on the Seattle Orcas in the opening match. The high-octane finale will be held on July 29th at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Texas, both matches broadcast live in India.
The MLC is rapidly becoming a major player in the world of cricket, particularly in the United States. It has garnered significant attention from Indian cricket fans, thanks in part to the participation of well-known franchises from the Indian Premier League (IPL) – Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, and Chennai Super Kings.

This season promises to be a star-studded affair, featuring popular cricketers like Quinton de Kock, Marcus Stoinis, and Nicholas Pooran. The inaugural MLC season in 2023 was a resounding success. Six teams battled it out for the coveted trophy, with MI New York emerging victorious after defeating the Seattle Orcas in a thrilling final. Nicholas Pooran, who played a pivotal role in the champions’ success with a staggering 388 runs, was crowned Player of the Season.
Sony Sports Network’s acquisition of the MLC broadcasting rights further strengthens its position as a leader in cricket telecasting.
