Animesh Kumar Resigns as President-HR and Transformation at Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd

Animesh Kumar resigns as President-HR at Zee Entertainment after six years, with Dheeraj Jaggi stepping in as acting Chief Human Resources Officer.
Animesh Kumar has resigned from his post of President-HR and Transformation at Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd (ZEEL).

New Delhi: Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd (ZEEL) announced on Tuesday that Animesh Kumar, who has served as the President of HR and Transformation for the past six years, has resigned. The company disclosed this development in a formal communication to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

“Mr. Animesh Kumar, President – HR & Transformation, designated as Senior Management Personnel of the Company, has expressed his desire to pursue interests outside the organization and therefore decided to step down from his position,” ZEEL stated in its notification to the BSE.

During his tenure, Kumar played a crucial role in steering the HR and transformation strategies at ZEEL, contributing significantly to the company’s growth and cultural development. The company expressed its gratitude towards Kumar for his valuable contributions over the years.

“We would like to thank Mr. Animesh for his contribution to the Company and wish him immense success in all future endeavours,” ZEEL added in its statement.

In his resignation letter, Kumar reflected on his tenure at ZEEL with a sense of accomplishment and gratitude. “The past several years have been a testament to our collective resilience and your visionary approach. As I now prepare to embark on a different professional path, the lessons learned and experiences garnered here will remain invaluable to me. I carry forward the memories of our achievements and the profound impact this role has had on my life, both professional and personal,” Kumar wrote.

Following Kumar’s resignation, Dheeraj Jaggi, who has been leading Human Resources for the Content Strategic Business Unit (SBU) and overseeing Enterprise Culture and Capability Development, will step in as the acting Chief Human Resources Officer. Jaggi’s extensive experience and leadership in HR are expected to ensure a smooth transition and continued focus on the company’s strategic human resource initiatives.

Animesh Kumar’s departure marks the end of a significant chapter at ZEEL, where his leadership in HR and transformation has been instrumental. As he moves on to explore new professional opportunities, the company and its stakeholders are poised to continue building on the strong foundation laid during his tenure.
