New Delhi: Prime Video & Amazon MGM Studios has announced the appointment of Ananta Das as the Head of Brand PR for Prime Video APAC. This strategic move underscores the company’s commitment to strengthening its brand presence across the Asia Pacific region.

Das, who previously held the position of Brand Lead – PR at Amazon, brings a wealth of experience to her new role. She will be instrumental in spearheading the launch and promotion of popular original series such as “Made in Heaven,” “The Family Man,” and “Comicstaan.” Additionally, her responsibilities will encompass proactively identifying and addressing industry and regulatory challenges, including censorship.

Expressing her excitement about the new opportunity, Das shared on LinkedIn, “I’m thrilled to embark on this new chapter as Head of Brand PR for Prime Video APAC. With over six years of experience, I’m eager to contribute to the company’s continued success.”

Prior to joining Amazon, Das held positions at Johnson & Johnson, Colgate-Palmolive, and Mondelez International, where she honed her skills in brand and corporate public relations. Her extensive industry experience, coupled with her deep understanding of the APAC market, makes her a valuable asset to Prime Video.

With over a decade of expertise in conceptualizing and executing successful PR campaigns, Das is poised to elevate Prime Video’s brand visibility and reputation across the region.
