New Delhi: The International Film Festival of India (IFFI) has announced the exciting lineup of films for its Indian Panorama section. This year’s edition will feature a diverse selection of 25 feature films and 20 non-feature films, showcasing the best of Indian cinema.
The opening feature film for the 55th IFFI is “Swatantrya Veer Savarkar,” a Hindi film directed by Randeep Hooda. This film is expected to set the tone for the festival with its powerful narrative. In the non-feature category, “Ghar Jaisa Kuch” (Ladakhi), directed by Harsh Sangani, will kick off the screenings.
The Indian Panorama jury, comprising renowned film personalities, carefully selected the films based on their cinematic excellence, thematic depth, and aesthetic appeal. The jury’s aim was to promote film art and showcase the rich diversity of Indian cinema.

The 25 feature films selected for Indian Panorama include a mix of mainstream and independent films from various regions of India. The lineup features films in languages such as Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Assamese, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, and Konkani.
Some of the notable feature films include “Kerebete” (Kannada), “Venkya” (Kannada), “Juiphul” (Assamese), “Mahavtar Narsingh” (Hindi), “Jigarthanda Double X” (Tamil), “Aadu Jeevitham” (Malayalam), “Article 370” (Hindi), “Gypsy” (Marathi), “Srikant” (Hindi), and many more.
In the non-feature category, the selected films explore a wide range of subjects, including documentaries, short films, and experimental works. Some of the highlights include “6-A Akash Ganga” (Hindi), “Amar Aaj Marega” (Hindi), “Amma’s Pride” (Tamil), “Bahi – Tracing My Ancestors” (Hindi), “Ballad of the Mountain” (Hindi), “Batto Ka Bulbula” (Haryanvi), “Chanchisoa” (Garo), “Flanders Di Zameen Vich” (Punjabi), “Ghode Ki Sawari” (Hindi), and more.
The Indian Panorama is a crucial platform for promoting Indian films and showcasing the country’s rich cultural heritage. The selected films will also be screened at international film festivals, Indian Film Weeks, and specialized Indian film festivals.
